In 2014 I started training as a creative professional at the Hout- en Meubileringscollege in Amsterdam. As a creative professional, you work as an independent professional and entrepreneur who designs, produces and sells products. You make products on commission or create products from your own initiative and put them on the market. These are often unique or small series of products. This is in line with the development that customers increasingly ask for authentic and unique products. Products of which they know who made it and where a story is behind.
In my 1st year I worked with both wood and textiles. I got acquainted with making small furniture and various textile attributes, including hats, shoes and bags. In the second year I made a choice between one of these two fields, I then decided to specialize in the manufacture of hats, bags and shoes. From the third grade I have had to make a definitive choice from the three aforementioned parts, since that year I only focus on making bags. In 2016 I started my own bag company under the name Pascasual. Through my Facebook page and website you can see what I have already made and what the possibilities are for placing an order.
