Shopping in Amsterdam: we love it! In Amsterdam you will find a variety of nice shops: concept stores, vintage stores, British fashion stores, interior stores and designer shops. One day is almost too short. What makes shopping in Amsterdam so much fun is that in addition to the well-known shopping streets there are many small side streets with special boutiques. Therefore, not only go to Kalverstraat during a day in Amsterdam, but also take a look at De Pijp and De Negen Straatjes where you can shop and enjoy delicious food. I visited these two stores last year, which is highly recommended for fashion and art lovers.

The frozen fountain
Prinsengracht 645,
The Frozen Fountain is a store that sells contemporary furniture and home accessories. The Frozen Fountain maintains close contact with designers who come from the various art academies in the Netherlands and abroad. This results in a dynamic collection. This collection is completed with a selection of international furniture brands. This creates an interesting reflection between the classics and the designs of contemporary designers. In addition, The Frozen Fountain has organized many exhibitions. With these exhibitions we try to visualize the symbiosis between idea and end product. In the meantime, the emphasis has shifted to installations and art commissions. Installations can be organized relatively quickly, which means they are better aligned with current events. In addition, giving art assignments offers the opportunity to delve deeper into a specific subject.
